Help with Terminal
Email jay@terminalaero.com about anything, from a notification that didn't arrive to deleting your data. For a flight, include its number and date.
How often Terminal checks a flight
More often as departure gets closer. For a saved flight:
| More than two days before it leaves | every 12 hours |
|---|---|
| From two days to six hours before | every 6 hours |
| In the last six hours | every 10 minutes |
| In the last 90 minutes | every 2 minutes |
| In the air | every 5 minutes |
| From 30 minutes before landing | every 2 minutes |
What Terminal sends notifications about
A saved flight gets a notification when:
- its gate or terminal changes
- it's delayed, or the delay changes
- it takes off, and again when it lands
- its baggage belt is announced
- it's cancelled or diverted. A cancellation names the next flight on the route.
- a delay leaves too little time for your next flight
If one doesn't arrive, check that notifications are allowed for Terminal in the iPhone's Settings. Profile in the app shows whether they are. If they are and it still didn't come, email with the flight number and date.
Deleting your data
- Everything on your phone: delete the app.
- A flight on the server: remove it from your list. Its entry is deleted at once.
- Anything else: email jay@terminalaero.com. The server holds no name or email address, so include the flight numbers and dates on your list.
Is the flight information always right?
No. It comes from flight data providers and is shown as they publish it, so it can be late or wrong. The terms say this in full.
Does Terminal cost anything?
No. There are no ads, and no account to create.
